Shackles were just what I ordered. Amazon packaging lacked.

Exactly what I ordered, however I cannot figure out why anyone would put 5lbs of metal shackles in the same plastic mailer as two printer ink cartridges. Ink cartridge boxes and shackle boxes were both in pieces and ink cartridges and shackles floating around plastic mailer. Hope ink cartridges work.

Strength

Honestly D rings are hard to find with good durability I have ran these through many different off-road and recovery test I live in Florida even though I may have just gotten these with this hurricane Ian that just came through I have been using these like crazy the past couple of days. The color hasn’t even chipped yet they honestly are well work they money.

Nice and all, but not AMERICAN!!! They haven’t wiggled loose or anything yet. Eventually going to scrap them because I don’t trust anything made in China and neither should you. Support AMERICAN companies/products or everything will be cheap China junk….

Great budget recovery gear

The shackles arrived early and on Sunday (which is a huge plus). I chose the safety orange. It’s nicely painted and the silicone/rubber pieces seem solid. The overall construction is pretty sturdy. However, I would go with something a little beefier if you’re pulling a larger vehicle. I’ll be using them with my forester in conjunction with a recovery strap and these are more then enough to compensate for weight. For the price point of $24.99 they are definitely worth picking up. I will be posting an updated review once I am able to test them out on the trails.

They seem small, but work

Compared to the ones I had already from RuggedRidhe(which one fell off somewhere do these are replacements)…these seem a little smaller…and the rubber is a bit softer…but I guess a little weight saving is a GOOD thing, as long as they perform the same (as they should).They include rubber washers to help protect the bumper as well…great idea

Nice but powder coat is weak

These are nice and sturdy but the inside of the bolt rusted within a couple months. I applied some rust coat spray and they seem to be holding up fine. Will update if that changes

These seem awesome! Very nice quality and finish. I can’t believe they sell two of these at this price! I would have paid this for one shackle. Obviously I won’t truly know how this works until I pull something with this but I have no doubt it will work perfectly. Plus it matches my ZR2 really well!

Does not fit a Hummer H2

Specifically states they fit a Hummer H2. Not even close. The ends are too narrow/close together and to pry apart to fit would end up compromising the integrity of the metal. Tried them on the front where I have a custom tow system, no-go there either. Too small so I have them hanging onto my originals in the back (for now). Not worth returning.
